Halloween is coming! There is no doubt you have thought about different ways of celebrating Halloween this year.

 

Tucson has a lot to offer for Halloween this year. The city celebrates the fall season through festivals, theatrical events, corn mazes and so much more.

Let’s have a look at the calendar of Halloween events in Tucson. Get to know to the places you can go to wearing a Halloween costume. It’s great to be able to talk to friends, eat a bowl of piping hot chili soup, pick your pumpkin and play a role in a murder mystery show. All of this is possible in Tucson during the fall season.

 

We are going to introduce events or places that will work for the whole family. And why not, places you can go for free?

Check out Fall Festival at Catalina United Methodist Church for free. The event features food, games, bounce house and much more on the South Lawn across from Himmel Park, from 5 – 7 pm.

 

Another free event happening on October 5th from 5:30 p.m. to 9.00 p.m. is Monster Mash 5k at Steam Pump Ranch. This fun event features food trucks, face painting, pumpkin decorations and, of course, haunted hayride. During the event, the attendees will be given materials to decorate the pumpkin. You will still need to buy a pumpkin for the pumpkin patch.

 

The contest of decorating pumpkins will be broken up into age groups. Those are 5 and under, 6-8, 9-12, 13-14.

If you are more than 14, then you are invited to take part in the pumpkin carving contest. Most probably you carved pumpkin will win a prize. Of course, if you do a great job.

There is no fairytale without the evil villain! The lunch includes drinks, food, craft, playtime and a visit from a villain queen.

 

The end of the month, on October 28, Boo at the zoo will feature pirates, superheroes, and wizards by your favorite books and movies. This is a perfect way to spend time with your children and let them see playing old-fashioned games.

This year the popular Crandell Glass Scary Loop will be featured in.
